Medication Management
Operators must establish, implement and maintain documented policies and procedures for Medication Management that must, at a minimum, include the following:
- management and documentation of willful or inadvertent non-adherence to the Medication Management program including:
- failure to fill a prescription;
- failure to take a prescription;
- omitting doses or overdosing;
- improperly storing medication; or
- improper use of medication administration devices;
