Legislation

The Alberta OHS Act, Regulation & Code webpage provides access to the key legislation that governs workplace health and safety in Alberta. It outlines the responsibilities of employers, workers, and other parties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, details supporting rules in the Regulation, and includes specific technical requirements in the OHS Code.

Policy

AHS Policies relating to supportive work environments are listed below. These policies are listed on Schedule B of service agreements which require contracted service providers to comply with the requirements contained therein. Refer to Schedule B for a full list of policies.

Contracted service providers are encouraged to adopt or align their own strategies to the Behavioural Safety Program (BSP).
