Restraint Management and Secure Spaces

For the purposes of 17.1 and 17.3, “supportive interventions” are positive, non-restrictive and non-pharmacological interventions including, but not limited to:

  1. meaningful activity participation;
  2. assessment and management of the Client's pain;
  3. assisting the Client to the toilet;
  4. assisting the Client with repositioning;
  5. social interactions; or
  6. environmental interventions
