Alzheimer's Disease is the most common dementia, but Lewy Body dementia, Vascular dementia and Fronto-Temporal dementia are among several other types as well. This section includes very informative dementia-related resources. My Heath Alberta provides excellent information for the public, people with dementia and those caring for them in their homes. The other resources link to information best suited for Primary Care and other health care providers who care for people with dementia in community, facility and primary care settings.
